Creating Your Own Yoga Space (feat. One Tree Yoga)

Creating space in your home that is dedicated to your yoga activities is essential. Your yoga space should be de-cluttered, and it should be your own. You do not want to create your yoga space in the kid’s playroom or with the dog’s bed in the room, for example.

A self-storage unit can help you create the perfect yoga space that you deserve and need by giving you a place to put all the “distractions”. For many, it is a cheaper solution for yoga space because taking classes or using traditional yoga studios for every session can be quite costly. Plus, most of us don’t have time to visit the studio every time we want to practice yoga. Some people actually use their self-storage unit (where allowed) as their yoga space. It can be a place to get out of the house, to be free and clear.

One Tree Yoga opened its doors in 2000. Since then, One Tree Yoga has expanded to two studio locations with classes taught by 19 instructors who have a combined experience of over a century. For more information, visit

Alison King-Tigges and Gabe Hopp started practicing yoga over a decade ago, and have been teaching for about five years. Each has received her 200-hour yoga instructor certification.
